About Our Club

Idle A.C. is a friendly, active club, which provides regular training opportunities for runners of all abilities. We meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7pm at the Idle and Hepworth Cricket Club on Wesfield Lane. Club members choose which and how many sessions to attend. There is a positive training ethic and weekly coached sessions run by qualified coaches. We currently have 3 x level 2 and 2 x level 1 qualified coaches in the club. The club has a good balance of both road and off road runners, with a Committee who meet on a regular basis and an AGM is held every year. Please feel free to come along on a Tuesday and check us out!

Idle Trail Race 2013

We regret that the Idle Trail Race will not be taking place this year. Our current plan is to continue with the race in 2014.

We would like to thank everyone for their interest in the race and their support over the past several years.
